What's In A Name?
The center of the Circle of Promise logo is the very essence of Red Mountain United Methodist Church: not bricks and mortar, but the Community of Faith, friendly and caring. "The promise is for you, for your children, and for all who are yet to come - everyone the Lord our God calls to him." Acts 2:39
The inner circle symbolizes the everlasting love which binds this group of people together as proactive, apostolic disciples in carrying out the mission of Red Mountain United Methodist Church: to connect people with God in order that they may grow in the Spirit and Love of Christ, "and live a life of love, just as Christ loved us and gave himself up for us as a fragrant offfering and sacrifice to God" Ephesians:
At Red Mountain United Methodist Church, we Lean Forward toward God in worship and sacrament, Reach Out to others through our caring ministries and support to community groups, and Grow with God by supporting missions here and around the world, and deepening our spiritual life through study and fellowship.
The outer circle represents the creation and order of the universe and Jesus' prayer for the Church that they all may be one. "that all of them amy be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me." John 17:21
